We are delighted with this app. And are telling all of our married friends. We need more of these kind of apps. In this day of being connected to so many devices, this app reminds us to connect to something more important.
Two years into my marriage I could feel the things I did in the beginning starting to fade and by my choice I wanted to make sure those things that I used to do to make my husband feel as though I put him first, second to the Lord, were still there. This app has gave me the guidance to continue to help keep my marriage as strong as it was the day I said "I do!"
Hubby and I have been married nearly 23 years. Married at 17 and 19 and no one expected us to last. Through many prayers and Pauls supporting us (Paul like leadership) we have leaned into God first and each other to survive and thrive. This app has been a joy to experience. We communicate well already and are exceptionally close but each day it asks you to specifically discuss some part of your relationship (guided discussion) with your spouse and these are some of the most precious words Ive ever exchanged with him. 100% recommend even for the most seasoned of marriage. Every effort we undertake to strengthen our marriage is worth it!
This app is an amazing tool to reconnect with your Love. Easy to use and send direct messages too.
I love this app!! I love waking up in the morning to read the message everyday. I also love the little tasks involves and the Bible verses. It has help me put more effort in to my marriage. Highly recommend.

Drs. Paul and Virginia Friesen have offered this world a deeply profound, yet fun and simple read in their book, The Marriage App. Marital issues which can seem so complicated, are distilled down throughout the chapters with highlighted pearls of wisdom and points of action (e.g. "When we know what would make our spouse feel loved but dont do it, the message sent is, I really dont care what you want - its not that important to me." pg. 131). OUCH! So simply stated but strikes deep to the core of a million marital issues. I especially liked the stories of real couples with real issues and was able to learn from their mistakes and was built up by the examples of those who were doing many right things over many years (especially Bill and JoAnn near the end of the book). My favorite pearl of wisdom was on page 50, "Strong marriages are not built on personal satisfaction as much as on knowledge, decisions, and sacrifice." This book is full of knowledge and provides a grid through which a couple can make decisions that will build up their marriage. Last, but not least, Paul and Virginia explain and lay out what God intended for us when we say, "I do." No one ever walks down the aisle planning on ending up divorced. This book provides the foundation, practical application and based in reality hope that we can have healthy marriages that weather the sunny days and the storms in life. I wish everyone would read it.
Convenient way to get daily advice about improving my marriage relationship! Thoughtful and helpful. I like getting a suggestion every day for something simple I can do to make my wife feel happier and cared for. Happy wife, happy life! :-)
